GAASH

Cerulean and Turquoise

The waters resonated with peace and serenity.
Arising within him emotions,
Of calmness and tranquillity.
The light glittered through the waves.
Transcending colours and shades
The hues of cerulean and turquoise
The tints of levity and brevity.
And so, he sailed across blessed waters.
A wanderer on strange tides.
Quite often, he stared into the azure ocean beneath.
Yet none but a reflection stared back.
Droplets Often sprayed past his visage.
Yet, the well’s offering was nothing but a mirage.
Left with him was the solidarity of none
On his own side, there was no one but one.
These waters breathe death, yet harken to life.
Breezes built of pallor and storms stark with strife.
Yet all he sees, as the eyes travel beyond
Is a crafted diamond of turquoise and cerulean water.
