Nargis/Narcissus (Narcissus): They have six white petals with a cup-shaped yellow center. They are one of the most commonly found flowers in Kashmir during spring.

Daffodils (Narcissus Psuedonarcissus): Daffodils have six yellow or white petals and a trumpet-shaped yellow center.

Primrose (Primula polyantha): Primrose flowers can be purple, yellow, red, pink, blue, or white and are perennials. They are sometimes called English Primroses.

Pot Marigold (Calendula officinalis): It is a short-lived flower with no fragrance. It’s petals are bright yellow or orange. They sometimes grow wild but are commonly cultivated.

Germander Speedwell (Veronica chamaedrys): Considered a good luck charm for travellers, these are meant to ‘speed’ you on your way. They are bright blue flowers with four petals and a white middle. The flowers appear from April to June. They are very small with a low height and are found in clusters.

Bugleweed (Ajuga reptans): It is a perennial flower, with erect stems blue or purple petals and dark green leaves and can reach 8 to 10 inches tall. “Bugle” refers to the trumpet-like shape of the flowers. It spreads over ground very fast and chokes other plants which is why it’s called a “weed”.

Italian Jasmine or Yellow Jasmine (Jasminum humile): Growing 2.5–4 m (8–13 ft) tall by 3 m (10 ft) wide, it is a roundish semi-evergreen shrub with thick stems. It blooms in spring and summer with clusters of usually six yellow, scented flowers.
