PATIENCE, PERSEVERANCE AND POWER

When we search Google for what the term ‘patience’ actually means, we get to see a bundle of different definitions, which end up making us even more confused. But why do we get to see all these different definitions?
This is because we cannot define patience in one single sentence or phrase. It is something beyond that. The meaning of the word patience can differ from one individual to another.
Talking about the term perseverance, it may be defined as “the quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without any complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like.”
More than it being a personality trait, being patient is a skill – a skill that you would need throughout your lifetime. As much as you need hard work for your success, patience is equally important. If you imbibe the quality of patience as a virtue, it could do wonders in your life and especially your mental health; it could help you be in a good space. Simultaneously, your physical health would also be ameliorated.
The most important part of trying to be strong-minded is developing the skill of patience, as it would protect you from any mental downfall during the lows in your life. If you are patient with your surroundings and the things happening, it could make your decisions and verdicts more appropriate. Patient people have a greater sense of gratitude. That is why, “Good things come to those who wait.”
Perseverance and patience is the biggest power one can attain. If you have these skills, it will tend to make your life more fair and your outlook more optimistic. Walking towards your goal, carrying yourself through failures, making yourself adaptable to different environments to make yourself grow and most importantly, being successful(and success itself is different for every person)– it all depends on how patient and perseverant you are.
