I have never been exposed
I have lived in my black veil for ages
My burning white skin peeps through its torn edges to see your last silhouette
The threads aren’t faithful
They have left to retrace the path that we had once taken
Your gaze is too strong
It splits open my diamonds
But my veil lays untouched,unwounded
I have lived in that moment for years for time doesn’t slip, it stays at the hem of my veil
Distance never separated us, war did
Now, my veil has lifted my body and enshrouded my soul.
